RUN OF THE MILL" PEPPER MILLS.
New on the market, innovative Crush Grind™ pepper mills incorporate durable
ceramic burrs, permitting them to grind sea salt and other hard spices, as well
as pepper. Crush Grinds are available in two versions:

Version one is the traditional style with the grinder
mechanism at the bottom of the mill. It does differ from standard mills by
having the coarseness adjustment at the bottom of the assembly eliminating
the necessity for a thumb nut on top. Since the upper shaft may be cut to
any length, a variety of shapes and configurations are possible with this
mill.

The second version is shorter, with a shaftless mechanism
which may be mounted with its opening facing either up or down. This makes
it possible to fashion a "no mess" mill which will save the tablecloth by
emitting pepper from its top, rather than bottom.
Neither of these mills require mounting screws and can be easily
friction fit into wooden containers. Our new instruction booklet (coming soon),
"Salt Shakers and Pepper Mills - How to Make
Them", details several ways these mechanisms can be mounted.
These milling mechanisms use ceramic grinding wheels
that will never rust. The mechanisms mount without the use of screws.

The
internal hi-tech ceramic grinder is adjustable and will grind
peppercorns, rock salt or spices, and it will never rust!
Easy mounting without use of glue or screws.
Shaftless
Mechanism:
Top and bottom wood sections fit on to this mechanism that allows
rotation for grinding. Made to any length and in any
material. Get creative with your design. Refill the mill from the
top or the bottom. For best results, we recommend using wood blanks that
are 2-1/4" or more in diameter.
